Walsall Manor Hospital

Possible Cancer diagnosis.

I was referred to Walsall Manor Hospital by my GP as I had found a lump on my chest. Due to my symptoms the rules are you must be seen within 14 days. The hospital did send me an appointment which was on the 14th day of my referral. Two days before I was due to attend the appointment, Walsall Manor phoned me (15:30 Tuesday) to say my appointment had been cancelled as both the Mammogram machines had broken. The hospital offered me no alternative hospital. They said you will just have to wait for the machines to be mended which could be another week. I had to try and find alternative hospitals via my GP. After making a fuss Walsall Manor phoned me on the Wed eve. to say they had access to 1 machine and could I keep my original appointment time on the Thursday. When I arrived on the Thursday I had o go out the room twice as the machine kept breaking. Eventually on the day I did get sorted and had an answer. The experience was already stressful I didn't need the extra stress that was added as a result of the hospitals incompetence.
