Volunteers’ Week takes place 1 – 7 June every year. It’s a chance to celebrate and say thank you for the contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK to the lives of individuals and communities daily and in unusual times such as this time around COVID-19.
WHY VOLUNTEER?
As well as helping individuals, or others in your local community or to meet a national need to volunteer to tackle such as COVID-19, it has been shown to improve volunteers’ wellbeing too.
It’s human nature to feel good after helping someone out and it makes a real difference to so many lives. Volunteering can also help you, to gain valuable new skills, experiences and help boost your confidence to tackle new problems or roles.
If your interested in volunteering with Healthwatch Walsall then contact us and fill in the contact from and we will get right back to you.
