Jekyl and Hyde. If your unfortunate to get Dr X then Google would be a more reliable option. He has no people skills, doesn't look from the computer, types with 2 fingers and dismisses everything you go to him about. He fails to refer you for the required investigations and in my experience is often dangerous in his approach. There is an element of arrogance, he seems to not care and is just wanting to get through the clinic without really doing the basics. I have had to reach out to waldoc numerous times and this has resulted in hospital admission prior and a diagnosis of serious conditions which were missed. I lived feeling ill for a very long time because nothing was done to help me. The best/worst example I can give is the time I was told I had a potassium deficiency without any blood tests... Or maybe it was the time I was told to drink carrot juice?! I'm not sure but then on the reverse of the coin is Dr Y and he is the polar opposite to Dr X and the sole reason I haven't moved GP. There is always a difficulty getting an appointment with Dr Y and I wonder why? The level of care is unpredictable, the consultation is usually none exsistent and the experience of this surgery is often poor. If I was looking for a GP to register with it wouldn't be this practice.
